Welcome

Today, October 27th, is a continuation of the Task Jam event that took place on January 24th, when 500 elementary, middle, and high school teachers met in twenty different locations around the country in a collaborative effort to design writing assignments that matter.

Let's Jam

Our Work Today

Working within the National Writing Project's model of Teachers Teaching Teachers and using the tools provided by the Literacy Design Collaborative (LDC), we will work collaboratively to design writing assignments that are meaningful, relevant, and aligned with the Common Core State Standards (CCSS). We will also share what we create here today with the larger community of assignment makers on our Google + group and on Twitter.
